National Assembly of the Republika Srpska
The NARS is the directly elected unicameral parliament of Republika Srpska (RS) seated in Banja Luka.
RS is the smaller entity of Bosnia and Herzegovina dominated by Serb population where the largest share of entity competences lies with the RS Government and Parliament. Next to the NARS there is the Council of Peoples, which oversees decisions made by the NARS with a veto right in order to ensure protection of constitutional rights of the constituent peoples.
